In my opinion, the strength of this Santa Clara team is depth. No reason they shouldn’t be playing defense like their hair is on fire. Seems like the type of roster where you play a bunch of guys in the 12-27 minutes range and tell them to go crazy with effort on defense…and to have no shame in checking one’s self out when you need a breather because there is a competent backup waiting to go in.

Yes, guys should have picked up guards at half court or before. Constant pressure. Full-court press at times…we all know defense travels…
