PMac, I have to respectfully disagree. IF SMC wins the conference, they have to have an edge for POY. Bowen is very good, but I view him as an excellent defender and role player. He’s only averaging 6 points per game. No question in my mind that Mahaney runs that team and is their best player.

Barring an injury, I can’t imagine anyone other the Timme winning WCC POY, whether GU wins the league or not.

Our own John Bryant was WCC POY even though we were 7-7 and 4th place in league.
