Wcc commissioner quoted in Las Vegas journal newspaper this morning - conference staying in Las Vegas for “the foreseeable future “. I assume that includes Henderson.

For its size the Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson would be ideal for the WCC. And without the behemoth that is Gonzaga perhaps more fans from other schools will attend.
Have also heard a possible dark horse being the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay is a possibility. The powers that be like the idea of the tourney on the Strip instead of Henderson. The only problem is the arena’s capacity is 12k

Hopefully the fact that Gonzaga and SMC are better than any team in the A-10 or Mountain West this year helps us out when getting evaluated. But of course, let’s take care of business tonight first.

Agreed - Gonzaga is #6 in the NET… plenty of at-large power conference teams don’t beat a top 10 team in conference play, home or away.
And SMC is #20, and we split with them.
I wonder how many pollsters, prognosticators and committee members are taking their first strong look at the Broncos in real time today… and how many won’t watch it given an 11pm eastern tip off.
