Post updates, commentary, and speculation on the Broncos’ 2026-27 schedule here.

Based on rumors, reports, and speculation, here’s my occasionally updated list. Remember that SCU can have up to 16 OOC games this season that count. (home; neutral):

Exhibitions:

  • Stanford
  • at Utah State

Out-of-Conference:

  • November 4: Milwaukee
  • November 7: Sacramento State
  • November 11: North Texas (Dallas area)
  • November 14: New Mexico
  • November 19: Virginia Commonwealth (VCU)
  • November 24: Accrisure Game 1
  • November 25: Accrisure Game 2
  • November 28: Utah Tech
  • December 2: Fresno State
  • December 5: at Grand Canyon
  • December 12: Murray State (Henderson, NV)
  • December 14: McNeese State (Henderson, NV)
  • December 21: Boise State (San Juan Capistrano)
  • December 23: Oregon State (San Juan Capistrano)
  • 2 more games possible for full schedule

Other possibilities:

  • Loyola Chicago (Chicago area)
  • Saint Louis (rumored last season but delayed due to Accrisure matchup)
  • San Jose State (are we ever playing SJSU again?)

Any other confirmations, rumors, or whisperings?

I actually don’t care if we resume games against SJSU. If the last couple games we played against them are any indication, we risk more to lose than to gain. But who knows? Maybe all those schools leaving for the PAC12 gives them reason to invest more if they think it’ll be easier to compete.

Thanks, Patty!! I’ll be interested to see how this progresses. I would guess our series with ASU is over.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re back in the Jack Jones Classic or playing another game in Henderson OOC

if i have my ducks in a row, the North Texas game will be at Dickies Arena in Ft Worth

Loyola Chicago will more than likely be at NOW Arena, home of the Windy City Bulls in the G league in Hoffman Estates

Darn, I was really hoping this one would be at the United Center or even Wintrust Arena (though that’s where DePaul plays its home games so that might be kind of weird for Loyola to have a game there). Tough to take the CTA out to Hoffman Estates!

I saw that earlier as well. The Broncos were supposed to start a home & home with SLU this season but postponed it because of their matchup in Palm Springs. Wonder if this changes it?

I would think if anything SLU hits SMC & SCU on the same trip?

Maybe that is wishful thinking.

Good news. Home and Home with VCU. First game November 19th at Leavey. Return game at VCU the following season.

Still wondering if St Louis is going to happen. I think pretty much all of the top non-power conference teams should play each other.

There will be by my count 5 current WCC teams, 2 former WCC teams & 1 future WCC team in the Accrisure event

I’d love to see a rematch against SLU. That was probably the best game of the 2025-26 regular season.
