Throwing this into the abyss as I can’t be the only one who thinks our athletics ticketing website is absolutely backwards. (We’re not alone, buying tix from other schools can be equally archaic).
But I was looking to buy some tickets on our site today and there’s a few oddities:
- Before doing anything you need to make an account (there goes another password I have to have saved)
- before buying Gonz tix you need to buy another game, which I was going to do anyways
- I was going to purchase tickets and it gave me the option to turn them into part of a 4-game plan, but it ended up making them more expensive (per game) in the process. How does that make sense?
I swear it sometimes feels like we make things so much more complicated than it needs to be.
All that being said, the pricing seemed pretty fair compared to USF, SMC, Stanford other venues I’ve been to of late. You can get in the door for under $20.

Being distant, I have no interface with our ticketing, sadly.
Nonetheless, I thought it strange the other day when the preview for the SLU game on the athletics website noted “This is the first meeting between the programs” when, plainly, it isn’t - we played within easy recent memory.
I have seen no chatter here, but wonder - how do the resident Broncos here like the new university logo? I like it, but the inclusion of yellow is a bit strange. It is not without precedent - the Nash era jerseys had quite a bit of yellow. I hope it is nice foreshadowing to a return to return to 1996 style glory on the hardwood.
Ehhh it’s a bit “create your own soccer logo” to me.
But I’m not a marketing major so maybe it will be more recognizable to the broader public than our old logo?
Didn’t realize they updated the website until I saw this. I had an account but had to make a new one.
It’s not surprising that it won’t let you only buy Gonzaga tickets. They know most people would only buy that and nothing else if they could. Not the first time they’ve done this either. Eventually, they’ll open up single game Gonzaga tickets, but you have to wait. I’ve done it both ways in the past; buying a package and waiting until the latter in the year when they open it up.
