Assuming its ok with the mods, starting this non-game thread to inform and orchestrate on who is coming, where we are all staying, where the Bronco fun is and acquiring and sharing of tiks.
Im coming, staying with @buckets and two other classmates in an airbnb Tiks TBD
My flight is booked. Still trying to figure out where to stay. But my group bought our Session 1 tickets off of TicketMaster as soon as the game time was announced.
Update: I just called the ticket office (weird concept for someone on the young-ish side like me). They said that if I don’t hear back from someone by the end of tomorrow, then to start buying from secondary markets.
have to be optimistic. I purchased return flight for Monday, so i can see the second round game! purchased my tickets today through SCU. I assume that ticket will be for all session 1. anyone going to second session or just planning on partying after the victory over Kentucky? St. Louis Union Station Hotel - nice place.
Just booked my flights from SJC with layovers both directions through Vegas. I’m assuming a Sunday game would be early enough for me to attend and get on at 7pm flight home.
See you guys out there. Let’s arrange a Bronco Hoops meetup for a beer or Chartreuse (for Zig!)?
I doubt there will be anything before the game cuz of the 11:15am tip. Maybe the Athletic Department will let us know the team is leaving the hotel at 9:30am come send them off with lots of cheers sort of thing.
I know fans are split between the Union Station Hotel, the team hotel, and Hilton at the Ballpark so maybe there will be something informal at one of these locations Thursday evening?
Union Station and other nearby hotels were steep…..$1,500 to $2,000+ for 3 nights. I found an AirBNB for $650 for 3 nights, ~20 min walk, or short transit ride to the arena.
Still waiting to hear back from the ticket office……I guess my $300 annual gift doesn’t put me high on the ticket list.
Guessing there will be a decent # of Bronco fans without a lot of specific plans on Saturday (regardless of Friday’s outcome). I for one want to mingle with more Broncos and watch some other NCAA tourney hoops.
If I organize a March Madness Bronco meetup at a local spot in downtown St. Louis, would you attend (assuming it doesn’t conflict with anything the official Alumni Association puts together)?
