Strong finish to end conference play and looking forward to conference tournament. This team deserves alot of credit and congratulate them on a very fine regular season with hopefully much more to come!!
An area of concern however especially when we find ourselves in a tight gameā¦free throw shooting. I hope it doesnāt come back to bite us in the a**.

Question: With Gonzaga and St Marys as Co-Champs at 1st, does that make us 2nd place? Because all social media is calling them Co-Champs. Like how is that even possible?
With Cam and Tilly evolving, I am curious to see what kind of damage they can do at the Tourney since they played Gonzaga and St Marys BEFORE they got into a rhythm.

We finished in 3rd place, and #1 seed for conference tournament will be determined by NET rankings since GU & SMC split season series. I would expect Gonzaga to finish higher, thus resulting in Gaels being on our side of the bracket and our opponent if we win our game on Saturday night vs #6, #7, or #10 seed.

Weāre almost an entirely different team with the firm of Tilly and Tongue getting decent minutes. Just lots of good interior action and movement. I think even Braun benefits since he has good hands and moves well with good instincts.
Conference tourney and beyond should be fun.

Actually SMC has the higher NET ranking, which puts Gonzaga on our side of the bracketā¦ not what I was hoping for.
Still, it was always likely gonna take beating Gonzaga and SMC to make the dace anyway.

True bettererā¦weāll have to beat both, but first, it looks like USF/Pacific/Pepperdine.
I donāt think that Iād be shocked if Pacific/Pepperdine beat USF, which would then make three games in three nights for either and a tough chore against a fresh and rested Broncos squad.
If victorious, then a day off with presumably the Zags waiting on Monday evening. I imagine weāre playing the late game if I recall format where #1 seed side of the bracket plays first?? Iām looking forward to the tournamentā¦āWhy not us!ā

I saw that SCU is +5000 to win the wcc tourney. Smc -115 and zags -105 are basically even money. Although complex math is not my strength, Iām good at spotting a bargain. $500 to win 25k sounds mighty enticing.
