I think the 3 to 4 inch height advantage of Caffaro/Tilly is giving Mogbo trouble on O and he’s settling for midrange.
Overall defense has been solid and better than usual. No reason we can’t defend that way all the time…effort and focus is all it takes.
Caffaro is playing exceptionally well on the defensive side. Really impressive.
Tilly is frustrating. He’s a 7’ guy who plays like he’s 6’8" sometimes. I’d like to see him go to the rim and JAM the ball instead of these soft fadeaways and loftballs.
After that early 2nd half TO by USF, SCU came out with a different look (full court zone press) AND O’Neil was on Mogbo and was FRONTING him anytime Mogbo was in the key. Loved the change up.
That was beautiful! Need to see more of it.
Broncos are playing decent. I think we all worried and wondered if the Broncos would come out a little demoralized and with low energy after the Portland loss but USF seems to have more of the hangover from their GU game.

I’m sorry. I know he is my kid. But this is a game Cam should be left in to rebound and stop the baseline beat up we get into. He also helps us get an inside outside game going cuz he’s so aggressive at the top. We have become FLAT on offense with passing around the outside.

Bal makes some poor decisions…no reason to push in transition surrounde by 3 guys especially when you are up ~10 and know they are playing aggressive and trying to get steals to make the comeback.
