BFemne, tough loss but Cam played great… good high percentage takes in his kill zone, monster on the boards, good D and very few mistakes. I hope he keeps rolling!

Well that sucked. First bad loss in conference for a season and a half.
The Utah State perimeter defense showed back up at a horrible time.
Tongue was a bright spot again. Bediako has not played well at all the last two games.
Gonzaga in Spokane next up. Then at USF. Real possibility of 0-2 next week, which would be a disaster. Need to go 1-1. I think 2-0 is within the realm of possibility given the Zags’ vulnerabilities but can’t give up 17 threes and hope to even keep it close like tonight.

This loss is sticking w/ me and one we may very well regret.
Instead of being a 1/2 game back of LMU and full 2 games ahead Pacific, we’re now 1.5 games back of LMU and tied with Pacific. We split head to head w/ Pacific so truly tied; given the # of WCC games left to play, it’s not worthwhile to look at the 2nd tiebreaker if we end of tied…bottom line, our position is weakened significantly.
And now BYU and USF lurk just 1/2 game behind us.
