Solid first half, keep it up and put this game to bed early I hope
Too many San Diego steals in first half - let’s tighten it up broncos
A very professional first 25 minutes. Let’s put them away.
Sloppy, sloppy, last 10 minutes….After a great first 25 minutes….
We’re lucky there aren’t 5 more minutes!
Yes, such a sloppy end to the game but tough to complain too much with a double digit win. Would have really helped the metrics to win it by 30.
The Darlan experiment needs major work…. Good defender but a TO machine….
One positive is that he has learned to play defense without fouling much better.
It’s hard to complain about a 12 point road win in conference play. Echo previous comments. Really liked first 30 minutes, but really sloppy final 10 minutes. 21 turnovers and some poor free throw shooting down the stretch.
Bukky was the best player on the floor tonight IMO.
You can see why Ty-Laur Johnson was a former big time recruit. He has a straight line speed with the ball that we really don’t have.
Having Graves come in with 12pts and 5 blocks was stout. Glad to have him…..![]()
Poor free throw shooting in last 10 min was bad but still a road W
Is Sash not capable of making a 2 handed pass?
Solid road win, need to clean up the turnovers and gave up too many offensive rebounds. Would’ve been nice to have won by 20+ for the metrics. Tho to me the metrics don’t really matter.
The Broncos can win their 7 league games by 30+ points but if they lose the 2 games to the Zags and Gaels the metrics won’t save them. They need to win 2 of those 3 possible games for an at large bid. Zero or 1 win it’s an NIT or CBC invite.
after wa waiting through the technical difficulties I tuned in just to see Darling throw an awful pass. Turnover. And then not too much longer another awful pass. turnover. 21 team turnovers. good lord.
Real mixed bag last night. Some really good D in stretches… some poor D stretches too.
Great shooting in stretches, then stretches of just turnovers and poor shot selection.
USD is really bad.
Win the next 5 leading up to Gonzaga, and there will be lots of at-large talk.
The attendance number is comical. There were maybe 400 people there, including the players and coaches.
It’s a shame, the Slim Gym is a great venue on a beautiful campus.
I think part of this is outside of Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s no one makes the tourney generally. With Gonzaga leaving next year I can see this changing as other schools finally get to experience some March Madness excitement if they get the auto bid which in turn will spill over to attendance in future years. That’s at least what I am hoping for with Santa Clara so we can get back to filling the place like happened more often in the early 90s Nash years.
