Some new blood and new ideas are needed. Coaching staffs can become stale, susceptible to group think after awhile.

I agree with @92bronc It’s good to hit refresh occasionally. Sendek’s teams have never been elite defensively but rather consistently pretty decent even when the offense was abysmal. I’d love to see a true defensive minded coach brought in and maybe one who can really connect with the players.

Agree need a defensive minded assistant, preferably with some head coaching experience. But most importantly someone to challenge Herb. Think the current staff is far too agreeable and deferential to him.

For context, Josh Pastner is the new UNLV head coach. Formerly the HC at Georgia Tech through 2023, at Memphis prior to that.
They canned Kevin Kruger and coincidentally, former Bronco assistant Barret Peery was an assistant w/ Kruger.
