Class of 2023 3 star recruit Luke Mceldon just committed to Santa Clara! He’s a 6’ 10” Center from Virginia. He took his visit this past weekend, so it must have went well haha. Also judging by his visit photoshoot, SCU has upped their budget and quality which looks better for recruits. Luke held offers from Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, LMU, and UMass among several others.

Just read up on him, very excited about this kid. Looks like he’s grown (I see he is now listed at 6’11") and he has a big body at 260+ lbs. I also read from multiple sources that he “knows how to use his body to be a very effective rebounder”.

EDIT: saw oak hill in the video description, but he seems have gone elsewhere.
He sounds like a good guy and an up and coming talent; an interior offensive presence would be a nice complement to what looks like a good group of guards and wings.
