Chukwudebelu starting, but looks like Bukky is suited. Ugly game so far. And the announcers…yeesh. I don’t mind a little bias for the home team, but this is like a small town radio call.

Play aggressive but under control. Nobody on their offense scares me so far. UNM have missed the rim on like 3 shots already. Make them make a play, and be more crisp on the offensive side
Maybe I’m in the minority, but really thought Darlan would be far more advanced and a difference maker. Yet, he has struggled at D1 level IMO.

The Broncos have been sloppy with the ball all season. And also have been fouling machines.
Coaches haven’t corrected, and now we are up against a team that will take advantage of our mistakes.

A couple of former WCC players in the rotation for Lobos…..starter Chris Howell spent 2 seasons at SMC then transferred to UCSD and followed the coach to UNM. And off the bench, Kevin Patton Jr. started at USD, had a promising freshman campaign, I believe all WCC frosh team, transferred to USC last season, struggled, had some injuries as well I believe.

Our guards are really struggling with the defensive pressure, we’ve seen it off/on all season….now plenty of it on tape, any teams with decent defensive guards are going to pressure us.
And we’ve been harping on the fouls all season…..both Bukky and Darlan have to be smarter. Darlan’s two were completely unnecessary, and over the back when he had zero chance against the opposing big man who had him boxed out and ball not in area, then reaching/slapping after the opponent rebounded. I absolutely want our guys to continue to play aggressive but you still have to be smart….it’s a risk/reward proposition, be selective and not as aggressive when you have limited chance for the steal/rebound but high chance of fouling.
I’ve seen enough, Broncos ain’t winning this game
