They play a couple of early games before the normal OOC begins. It’s the only way to get a 20-game slate in for these bloated conferences.
Agree. The Gophers are quite bad. But any dominating win over a P5 opponent matters because they’ll all have a random top-25 win that overinflates their ratings. It’s pretty hard in this day and age for a Power 5 team to fall out of the top 100 just given their in conference competition.
Good half. Keep the foot on the gas and keep Bukky from fouling twice per minute.

Mahi and Hammond were terrific and love Graves’ physicality.
So impressed with Chukwudebelu as a true freshman big. Always seems to make the right pass and rarely looks hurried.
We need this Darlan every night. He is a competent 3 point shooter and needs to shoot when open to keep the defense honest. Love his activity on defense and the boards.
Hopefully this is one of many Cochran scoring bursts in the future.

He has a beautiful free throw stroke, especially for a big man. I’d want him at the line at the end of game to ice a win.

I don’t think Minnesota is a bad team. They gave Stanford a good game yesterday. They aren’t playing well, but the Broncos are playing with strong defensive intensity and are clicking on offense, which is leading to the big lead. This version of SCU is going to be tough for anyone to beat.
Just gotta keep the bigs from fouling so much…especially Oboye.

Two games ago.
But that wasn’t a Big 10 team. Though nailing catch and shoot threes really helps.
yeah, guess I should’ve caveated that question.
One thing that bugs me is that this is looking like Nevada where we were up by 30 and we’ve gotten very sloppy towards the end of the game. We need to play like every move counts for the full 40 minutes.

Not the intensity through the end that I would like to see. Too many offensive rebounds by the Gophers and the Broncos making silly plays with a lack of urgency.
Agreed. Very sloppy.
Also, Graves 5 fouls, Bukky 4, Chuk 4. Not good when our biggest guys are foul-happy.
