Several extra chances and scoring opportunities though not great ones. Too many mid-range fall aways, contested floaters (Knapper). You see why SMC D is ranked so high…everything is contested/challenged. Meanwhile SMC has .gotten a couple of easy layups.
and once again we are sloppy with the ball.
5 turnovers in less than 6 minutes.

Apparently SMC has taken up residency deep within the psyche of the Broncos.
This is a glaring example of how using a free flow offense that relies on individual skills rather than having an offensive system and sets that generate scoring opportunities is a problem, especially against disciplined and strong defensive teams. Very few good looks, can’t handle simple 1on1 defensive pressure leading to turnovers, errant passes, etc.

Honestly, just jack up threes on every possession. They’ll get more points that way.

I get that Cafarro is a good defender but I’m so over watching him slap at rebounds and pass out of the low block (giving the ball away). Let’s give the freshman a shot!
