We have NO OFFENSE. BK plays like a true guard and tries to pass inside but Caffaro not ready. Bal thinks he can single handedly win games and never looks inside. And somehow - Herb subs in guys who aren’t ready inside with guards who pass it and then puts in guys who are ready with guards who don’t pass.
There is NO General to direct these guys.
33 is a tool who should’ve gotten a tech for taunting. Ensminger handled it beautifully. Saxon should be in acting school. He seemed JUST FINE shoving Cam from behind after the JB jab that on TV didn’t even bend his t shirt. So was it really a jab? On TV it looked like nothing.

We are a 5-7 (1-1) team playing on the road vs a team that will soon be ranked. Although disappointed I’m not surprised. A JV team can improve over a two and a half week period but they will never be good enough to compete against the varsity.
Wtf does Herb teach on defense (besides non contact and and always staying at least 5 ft off the ball)?

Watching on TV is rough! Some chick with a piercing shrill and obnoxious voice is horrible to listen to.
Yeah, it only took 25+ game minutes for HS to figure it out.
At least they are now playing hard. Second half effort as maybe they were embarrassed by first half.

I think all the fouling, T’s, video reviews, etc. worked to our favor. Took a lot of the energy out of the gym.
Now down to 8 but really needed O’Neil to make the front end of that 1and1…could be down to 6 now.

add in there the technical fouls (free 4 pts for SMC) and this game could be a lot closer.

Would obviously be great if we can come all the way back.
But even if we don’t, hopefully keep it 10 or under and gain a little confidence off the solid 2nd half.
At worst, should have been a double foul on Cam-Saxen.
Karma that Saxen missed both FT’s.

Give Cam credit, he’s had to tangle with Saxen for so much of this game given that Tilly is out and Caffaro was a big negative.
