SMC’s Jordan Ross landed at Georgia. Pretty good outcome for him.
He’s a much better athlete than Mahaney so I’m predicting this will turn out better for him than it did for Mahaney at UConn.

247 has had Luke transferring to Mount Saint Mary’s for several weeks now. And his IG page has a photo of him committing there on 4/16.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a player transfer then transfer again

I’m pretty sure McEldon is going to the Mount and that On3 is just wrong about UVU.
Jacob Dar committed to Seton Hall a couple of days ago. Davide Casarin is the only SCU target of whom I’m aware at this point, though I’m sure he’s not the only one in actuality.
Malik Thomas committed to UVA. This is the first season where you can really chart the haves and have nots in college basketball for money, and I’m quite surprised by how far out of the power structure Gonzaga seems to be. The Zags have basically missed on all of their top targets in the transfer portal, presumably due to money. That’s not me suggesting that the Zags are taking a major step back by any means (being able to direct Pac12 football money to basketball players will be huge for them), but I do think the days of getting guys like Suggs, Holmgren, Timme, and even Wiltjer are over for Gonzaga and perhaps permanently.

Bradley Ezewiro of UAB is the top remaining center in the portal per 247 sports. He’s listed as 6-9 and 265 lbs, so a true big guy. He’d need a “Malik Thomas” waiver which is maybe the hold up. His next school would also be his fifth in five years.
But he would perfectly fit the need and be a one-year player to buy Chukwudebelu a season to make the leap. I have no idea if he’s on the list for SCU, but I would certainly make the call. He played his second-to-last game at SCU, so he would have a feel already.
Maybe an international signing may me more appropriate. If we are prioritizing a big it should be a true big. There are more internationals prospects available. Gonzaga just secured 1.
