Bienvenue et bonne chance, Noah.
(My only Santa Clara “C” was in French.)
That’s a lot of “D’s” and “F’s”
. We did what we could….
Wiry.
Looks like he could use a daily 4th meal at the Hungry Hound.
Speaking of JW, he made Second Team All Defensive Team today. Congratulations!
Noah needs to get that FT percentage up before the season starts
We will get to armchair evaluate Noah a bit this summer when he plays for France in U19 FIBA competition, including against a USA squad.
Clever response, SCUFan. Well done.
There have been a ton of WCC commitments over the past month as teams fill out their roster. More than I care to list.
But one semi-interesting development is a significant number have transferred from one WCC school to another, or have some sort of connection to a WCC player or program:
Portland, Pacific and LMU have mostly filled their rosters after being down to a handful of returners. USD and Pepp still need to sign 3 to 5 players.
And not sure if it it has been mentioned here but Kosy Akametu committed to Iona. Not a bad landing spot for him, hopefully he does well.
The conference power houses have set the standard. This offseason the conference has sought out large front court pieces for rim protection and create offensive mismatches. Both St marys and Gonzaga have loaded up on several 7 footers. The rest of the conference has gone after international players mostly. Many of the front courts carry little to know experience and rival our post in size. It would be helpful to solidify the front court with one more defensive minded athletic big. The transfer portal impacted every team in the conference and obviously the new pieces can only be as strong as the incumbent core; to this I think the Broncos have an advantage. Most of the effectiveness is hard to predict but the below list should share how the Broncos front court isn’t as far behind the other front courts as its felt.
