Last game of a long slate of ESPN games today. Betting start gets pushed back to 7:40ish.
Perk of being in Chicago and having a girlfriend who also loves college hoops, we had a 6pm dinner reservation so we could watch the 2pm Xavier game and the 9:30pm SCU game. Let’s go Broncos!

I’d like to see Mahi play more aggressively than he has the past couple games. Take it to the hole early and see if he can get Ike in early foul trouble.
As it turns out, we have had 6 different leading scorers the past 6 games, and none of them were Mahi. Would love to see him make it 7.

Prior to Ike’s 3 I’m pretty sure all 21 of GU’s pts were inside of 5ft, including FT’s from fouls at the rim.
GU is tops in the country for points in the paint for a reason….as several of us said above clog the paint and collapse on Ike at all costs.

The 5 that were out there until the foul, were on the court for a LONG time. We weren’t able to play full court press as our guys were running out of gas… could’ve used a timeout right after the 4 min mark but it got all the way down to 2:06.

Gotta keep the Zags off the offensive boards in the second half. Also if Graves can get it going, that would be great. This is a ball game. In the words of another great coaching Herb, “You were born to be [basketball] players. Every one of you. And you were meant to be here tonight. This is your time. Their time is done. It’s over. I’m sick and tired of hearing about what a great [basketball] team the [Zags] have. Screw 'em. This is your time. Now go out there and take it.”
