My guess is that this flip flops 3 more times before season. It’s all a joke.

Exactly. I’m done paying attention to it or getting excited about it. I guess we’ll know when they take the court in November.
I believe ruling is a stay of the injunction pending appeal. That means Mahi back to ineligible status until Appeal heard by 10 th Circuit court. If NCAA loses Appeal, then Mahi becomes eligible again.

I think the recent stay order does not decide the merits of the Plaintiffs case. It just temporarily pauses the immediate effect of the injunction order until the NCAA’s appeal of the injunction order is finally decided within the next several months.
How is Mahi’s eligibility/ineligibility impacted by the academic calendar? Some questions that come to mind:
(1) When is the last day that Mahi can enroll for fall semester if/ when he is deemed eligible?
(2) Might he enroll anyway, just to make sure that he’s eligible with the school once he becomes eligible with the NCAA? I guess he wouldn’t have a scholarship in that scenario.
(3) If he’s deemed eligible in November which is too late to enroll in the fall semester, can he enroll in the winter semester and start playing games in late December?

I would guess there are ways to dance around the enrollment issue. I’m sure they can retroactively enroll him somehow. Or they will enroll him in something to keep him eligible.
