Man that was some of the funniest stuff ever I can’t lie with Hurley getting thrown out
One of those you just had to be there moments. Offense humming and process has been largely good but as others mentioned the defense has been bleh. Not great shows/traps at the point of attack
Unfortunately I think we’re gonna have to live with this team’s transition defense all season. Coach Ludwig was asked a question about it at the pregame bistro and said they’re willing to live with it because crashing the boards helps them so much offensively. I’ve never heard a coach say it was okay to not get back on D
Although the D has had some weak parts (especially in stopping penetration), they have been disrupting the passing lanes, are playing hard, and hitting the glass…. not all bad on D

Sorry…..the defense has not been good…..giving up 53% FG and 9/17, over 50% on 3’s. And transition D poor on multiple occasions.
Not as bad as vs. New Mexico but still not good.
And if you can’t get stops, it limits our own fast break and early offense opportunities.

What is it with this team being awful in the second half this year?
This 2nd half offense is terrible. Standing around, not locked in, too much distance shooting.

We lost this game. They looked unmotivated, sloppy, lacking energy. This doesn’t look like a tournament team. I thought we did to start the season. Oh well maybe next year.
And this is exactly why we never make the tourney. Can’t win the games that have to be won.
Don’t understand why our team can’t stop fouling. It’s just killing the team in these games.
What a disaster of a half. That was some of the worst Broncos basketball I have ever seen.
It’s time to put away the “at large”chatter. Coaches don’t miss shots but Herb is to blame for placing an undiciplined Bukky helping 25 ft away from the basket committing fouls. Transition defense has been beyond dismal tonight too.

So disappointing. Might as well use the rest of non conference to experiment because the only way you are making the NCAA Tournament is to win the WCC Tournament.
This loss was terrible since we were way ahead and blew it. The turnovers were in many cases unforced. We looke scared in the second half. No margin for error now. Must win the next two then at least sweep USF and split with St Marys and win the rest in league other than Gonzaga. I doubt that will happen. Season looked promising but last two games were eliminators. We looked small though two bug guys fouled put. Oh well, the curse of being a bronco fan.
